David Meltzer

Dave Meltzer is currently the CEO of Sports 1 Marketing, a firm which he co-founded with Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon. Sports 1 Marketing is a sports and entertainment firm that leverages the relationship capital that surrounds the world’s largest sporting events. As an active member of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, Dave is proud to oversee an honored partnership between Sports 1 Marketing and the Rose Bowl to ensure the future of the Rose Bowl remains an esteemed part of sports history and tradition. Dave is a technology pioneer who has worked for some of the most influential companies known around the world, and is currently a best-selling author and highly sought after motivational speaker.

Warren Moon

President and Co-Founder of Sports 1 Marketing, Warren Moon, is a man who leads by example as a Hall of Fame Quarterback that supports and contributes to dozens of charitable organizations, including his own Crescent Moon Foundation which raises scholarship funds for excelling students in need. Warren was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2006 and currently sits on the Board of Directors as an active member and mentor to professional athletes. NFL named him Man of the Year in 1989 for his work in the community. As a Rose Bowl MVP in 1978, he sits on the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation board to secure the image of America’s Stadium.

Scott Duffy

The best-selling author of Launch!: The Critical 90 Days from Idea to Market, Scott Duffy began his career working for another renowned speaker and author, Tony Robbins. Throughout his career, Scott has worked for media outlets such as CBS Sportsline, NBC Internet, and He also founded Smart Charter, an online booking tool for private aviation, which was acquired by Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. Currently, he speaks at events around the country and serves as a co-host of the show Business & Burgers “Presented by Microsoft”.

Ann Meyers Drysdale

A member of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, Ann Meyers Drysdale played college basketball at UCLA, before being drafted first overall to play in the Women’s Professional Basketball League (WPBL) in 1978. Ann set many records during her basketball career, including recording the first quadruple-double in NCAA Division I basketball history, being the first player to be part of the U.S. National team while still in high school, and she is the only woman to sign a contract with a NBA team, the Indiana Pacers. After her playing career, Ann transitioned to broadcasting, covering a variety of sports for ESPN, NBC, ABC, FOX Sports, and CBS.

Shawne Merriman

A former First Round pick for the San Diego Chargers, Shawne Merriman earned NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in his first season and recorded  39 1⁄2 quarterback sacks in his first three years in the NFL. Merriman played in the NFL for eight seasons, being named to both the Pro Bowl and All Pro Team in three consecutive years. He has worked as a commentator for NFL Network, FOX Sports, WWE and other top media outlets since announcing his retirement in 2013. Shawne is also the founder of “Lights Out Brand” which offers a complete lifestyle line of high quality, fashion forward apparel for men and women, as well as children’s toys.

Roger Abramson

Roger Abramson is the founder and CEO of The Atlantic Group, a company he founded at the age of 26. Through Roger’s leadership, Atlantic has built a reputation as one of the most efficient, inventive, and fastest growing companies in the contract furniture business—exceeding $100 million in annual sales after its sixth year in business. Since its inception, The Atlantic Group has remained profitable for 26 straight years. Roger has worked as a pro-bono adjunct professor at The Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, and has served as a judge for the prestigious Columbia University Business Plan Competition. In addition to appearing on CNN as a business commentator, Roger is featured in Inc., Entrepreneur, and Forbes magazine. Currently, Roger has set his sights set on building a non-profit university.

Marc Watts

A former Director of Media Talent & Development at NFL Network, Marc Watts now operates Marc’d Academy: The Broadcast Training Institute in Los Angeles, which he founded in 2016. Bringing experience from his time at NFL Network and as a CNN National Correspondent, Marc helps to train athletes and on-air personalities to make the transition to sports broadcasting. Throughout his career, he has helped more than 650 individuals to hone their presentation skills and prepare them for positions in media.
